Matthias and Désirée

With Sarah and Tim.

A gift for Matthias....

We made Matthias a duvetcover with familypictures.

Désirée had a pillowcase with their picture and a personal message for Matthias.

Steven and Lisa also had a pillowcase for Matthias.

All the friends and family at the party wrote something on the duvetcover, so Matthias can think of all of us!

Henk graduated! (again)

Henk graduated for his second bachelor's degree.

His teacher spoke of him highly and made me very proud of Henk. He said Henk was his eldest student, but also had the highest quality and wonderful grades. He also talked about the discussions they had had in class that were challenging to him, but also teaching tools to the other students.
The teacher also included Matthias in his speech, how he had started at 16 to do the same thing and was also graduating now, just from a different school.

There was just one thing that went wrong again.
They put the wrong place of birth on his diploma, so after an hour he had to hand it in again. Matthias is now hoping that he will still receive his diploma before his dad! (not really fair though).

Next week we'll go through it all again with Matthias!
