More Las Vegas

Luxurious hotels...

Look!
We are winning!
We only put in 1 dollar
and now we have $2.30!!
(well, Lisa was winning,
but in the end we lost it
all ofcourse....)

The three of us only
spent a total of
2 dollars, but
had a lot of fun together.

We went to see the
Donny & Marie show
and it was great!!!
A lot of fun and
good music.
Wonderful performers!

At the MGM they have
these lions. There is only
a floor of glass between
Steven and the male lion...

Las Vegas and Hoover Dam.

This is the second time we were here. It is very impressive. They are working on building a bridge here for years now and it still isn't finished.
Amazing!

Beautiful!

To me this was one of the funnest places, the M&M store. 4 floors of colorful fun!

Crazy Las Vegas.

Steven's Birthday

We took Steven and Lisa out to dinner for Steven's birthday.
He had always been asking why we went to 'Daniel's Summit' with Kyle and Melanie and he could never go. So we took him now. He was totally oblivious to the fact that we took him there especially to get him in the direction of Heber City, where we had prepared a surprise B-day party for him. Once there we told him that Melanie made him a special B-day dessert, so we would have to go to their house. Melanie was a great help in decorating the house and the cakes and in preparing. Steven didn't suspect a thing and it turned out to be a wonderful surprise and great birthday!
So thank you everybody for helping and coming and making this work!

My / Our Trip to the USA

Steven and Lisa took me

It is a beautiful temple,
inside and out and it was
a very special experience.

Steven on his scooter.
Boy, did I enjoy
riding that!
Brought back a lot of
memories....

I went to Temple Square
with Lisa and Steven and
Lisa's family.

Steven and Lisa,
married for 1 year now...

And we got to see
sr. Julie Hulet again,
who is serving her
mission on
Temple Square.
That was quite
special!

The story of the pigeon

Well, the story is about this pigeon who ended up in our garden about a month ago.
It seemed like he or she wasn't feeling well. She was lying on the ground. So I left it alone to rest. Then she decided to stay and I decided to feed her. She wasn't to shy and walked into my kitchen. After a few days she came further and further into the house. Now I have to close the door between the kitchen and the hallway, or she will wander around in my living room!
One evening she scared Henk to death (and the day after that she did it to me), when we walked into a dark kitchen and she was sitting on the
counter top! Because the light was off, I didn't see her sitting there and even touched her.
I don't have a picture of this, but 2 days ago she was sitting on top of the stove....It is getting dangerous now because they say that pigeon tastes really good....
Why do animals always do this to me? I think they can twist me around their little feet....
Oh, and when I'm patient, she will eat out of my hand.
